Role summary
Abbott seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering activities for medical device programs in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. - Medical device industry experience and advanced credential in relevant discipline preferred

What you'll be doing
- Gather, analyze, and translate stakeholder requirements into specific system features and specifications
- Lead technical planning, performance evaluation, cost estimation, and risk analysis for assigned programs
- Assign projects to teams, determine system architecture, and provide leadership and guidance
- Conduct prototype evaluation and validation testing to confirm alignment with intended use requirements
- Identify and resolve technical issues while maintaining compliance with FDA and company QMS requirements
