Merck seeks a Senior Specialist for Operations to support commissioning, qualification, and start-up of a new spray drying small molecule manufacturing facility in Elkton, Virginia. What you'll be doing

Support commissioning, qualification, start-up, and operational readiness activities for the new SDI facility
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and effective plant start-up and process optimization
Define, implement, and improve operating practices, procedures, and standard work supporting reliable operations
Coordinate and prioritize improvement activities using Merck Production System tools and lean principles
Act as delegate for Production Lead when needed, supporting leadership continuity and cross-functional coordination
