Role summary
Revolution Medicines seeks a Senior Scientist I in Cancer Genomics to develop biomarkers and computational strategies for RAS(ON) inhibitor clinical programs. - Ph.D. in Cancer Genomics, Genetics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field
- 2-8 years post-PhD experience analyzing cancer genomics data in biotech, pharma, or diagnostics
- Strong cancer biology knowledge with RAS/MAPK signaling expertise in pancreatic, lung, or colorectal cancers
- Proficiency in R and/or Python with version control (git) expertise
- Linux and cloud computing experience including HPC clusters and NGS workflow development
- Hands-on experience with ctDNA and liquid biopsy data analysis from blood samples
- Expertise in tumor tissue DNA sequencing analysis (gene panel, whole-exome, whole-genome)
What you'll be doing
- Apply advanced genomics analytics to clinical biomarker data supporting R&D initiatives
- Integrate multi-omics datasets to analyze disease biology, resistance mechanisms, and drug response prediction
- Partner across functional teams to deliver biomarker analyses and actionable recommendations
- Communicate scientific findings to diverse audiences through publications and presentations
