Role summary

Nurix Therapeutics seeks a Senior Research Associate/Scientist I to design and execute cell-based assays supporting discovery of small molecule and antibody-conjugate degraders for cancer and inflammatory disease. Strong background in cancer cell biology with extensive cell culture experience
Proficiency with cell-based assay platforms (HTRF, AlphaLISA, CellTiter-Glo, RT-qPCR, flow cytometry, Western blotting)
Ability to independently design and execute hypothesis-driven experiments with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data integrity
Clear written and verbal communication with demonstrated cross-functional team effectiveness

What you'll be doing

Plan, execute, and analyze in vitro cell-based assays for small molecule and degrader-antibody conjugate programs
Perform routine and specialized cell culture using cancer cell lines and/or primary cells
Independently troubleshoot experimental issues and introduce new techniques to accelerate discovery
Analyze experimental data to quantify drug potency and communicate findings to project teams
Maintain experimental data in electronic lab notebooks and databases with accuracy and timeliness
