Role summary
Merck seeks a Senior Packaging Technician to independently execute clinical packaging activities for pharmaceutical studies at its Lucerne facility. - Completed apprenticeship in life sciences or related field
- At least 3 years pharmaceutical manufacturing or clinical packaging experience in GMP environment
- English language proficiency at B1/B2 level or above
- Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Hands-on experience with packaging and labelling equipment
- Strong understanding of GMP, GDP and EHS requirements
What you'll be doing
- Perform primary and secondary clinical packaging according to SOPs and batch records
- Operate packaging and labelling systems for clinical study materials
- Train and support new technicians and serve as technical point of contact
- Prepare GMP documentation, execute SAP transactions and complete batch records
- Coordinate routine operational tasks and ensure compliance with packaging procedures
