What you'll be doing
- Maintain presence in manufacturing areas to observe operations and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and process mapping to assess performance and opportunities
- Define and execute automation strategy incorporating robotics, vision systems, PLCs, and collaborative robots
- Own capital automation projects from concept through commissioning, including validation and business case development
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to industrialize new products and establish engineering best practices
