Role summary
AbbVie seeks a Senior Manager, Operations to oversee 12-hour manufacturing shift operations and provide leadership across the department. This role manages teams, ensures regulatory compliance, drives operational performance, and supports the Associate Director of Operations in a regulated biologics manufacturing environment.

- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical science, engineering, operations, or related field
- Five years' supervisory or management experience in regulated manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and manufacturing processes
- Experience with capacity planning, production scheduling, and KPI management
- Proven track record leading Root Cause Analysis and CAPA activities
- Experience managing teams across shift-based or continuous operations
What you'll be doing
- Lead and develop manufacturing and janitorial teams while maintaining operational continuity across 12-hour shifts
- Partner with Associate Director to develop business plans and ensure customer requirements are met
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators and implement capacity strategies
- Ensure manufacturing activities comply with GMP, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Lead operational excellence initiatives, problem-solving activities, and cross-functional improvement projects
