Role summary

- Drive technical rigor through design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering governance
- Assess capability gaps and develop strategic plans to close gaps through hiring, training, and process improvement
- Lead, mentor, and develop mechanical engineers; manage performance and succession planning
- Establish metrics for team health, engineering quality, and execution effectiveness
