Role summary
Baxter seeks a Senior Manager for Global Tax Accounting to lead tax provision reporting, team development, and process improvements within the Global Tax organization. What you'll be doing
- Manage preparation and review of global corporate income tax provision and effective tax rate reporting under US GAAP ASC 740
- Develop and mentor team members; drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies
- Collaborate with Global Tax, Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams on tax accounting matters and strategic initiatives
- Analyze tax data using automation and analytics tools to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Monitor changes in US GAAP, SEC requirements, and tax laws to assess impact on reporting positions
