Role summary
iRhythm Technologies seeks a Senior Firmware Engineering Manager to lead an embedded firmware team developing battery-powered cardiac monitoring devices. - 2+ years managing firmware or embedded software engineers

- Experience in regulated industry, preferably medical devices
- Proficiency in C for embedded systems and familiarity with IEC 62304 and ISO 13485

- Lead, mentor, and develop firmware engineering team while fostering accountability and high performance
- Own firmware project execution including priorities, goals, timelines, and multi-concurrent deliverables
- Guide technical decision-making through architecture reviews and hands-on embedded systems support
- Partner cross-functionally with electrical, software, QA/RA teams on requirements and delivery alignment
- Improve team effectiveness by identifying workflow bottlenecks, tooling gaps, and process enhancements including CI/CD infrastructure
