Role summary
Amgen seeks a Senior Manager, Finance to support the U.S. Oncology business from India. This strategic finance leader will partner with oncology and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, forecasting, planning, and decision support in a global, matrixed environment.
What they're looking for
- Doctorate degree and 10+ years progressive finance experience, or Master's degree and 12+ years, or Bachelor's degree and 15+ years
- Financial Planning & Analysis experience including revenue forecasting
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience with sales and marketing finance exposure
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; Hyperion experience preferred
- Strong corporate finance knowledge and critical thinking ability
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders across levels
- Experience collaborating across global matrixed teams and supporting U.S.-based stakeholders
What you'll be doing
- Partner with oncology brand, sales, and business leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Lead monthly close activities including financial review, variance analysis, and issue resolution
- Develop and maintain complex business and financial models to evaluate scenarios, risks, and investment opportunities
- Own or support sales and expense forecasting, annual operating plan development, and long-range planning
- Deliver clear presentations and written communications with actionable recommendations to senior leadership
