Role summary

Gilead Sciences seeks a Senior Field Reimbursement Manager to support access and reimbursement optimization for HIV Prevention products across large, complex health systems and multi-state accounts. This remote/field-based role focuses on strategic account management, systemic barrier assessment, and coordinated cross-regional support to facilitate patient access.

Bachelor's degree and eight years' experience, or Master's degree and six years' experience
Experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, access, patient services, or market access roles
Expertise in payer, provider, health system, specialty pharmacy, and pharmaceutical company relationships
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex, multi-location health system and IDN accounts
Prior leadership or enterprise account strategy experience strongly preferred
Ability to reside in or near assigned geography and travel extensively for in-person engagement

What you'll be doing

Develop and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders across health systems, IDNs, and specialty pharmacies to optimize patient access
Lead coordinated, cross-regional account strategies that reduce duplication and improve support consistency across multi-site accounts
Assess systemic access and reimbursement barriers including prior authorization, benefit verification, and claims workflows
Create instructional resources and implementation plans to educate providers, billing teams, and revenue cycle staff on reimbursement processes
Identify bottlenecks in patient access journey and escalate high-need situations using appropriate technology tools and pathways
