Role summary
Gilead Sciences seeks a Senior Field Reimbursement Manager to support access and reimbursement optimization for HIV prevention products across large, complex health systems and multi-state accounts. This remote/field-based role requires extensive travel and involves developing strategic relationships, designing scalable processes, and coordinating cross-functional teams to remove patient access barriers.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years pharma experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years, or Ph.D.
- Field reimbursement, patient access, market access, or account management background in pharmaceutical organizations.
- Enterprise account management and health system or IDN experience preferred.
- Understanding of payer, provider, specialty pharmacy, and pharma reimbursement relationships.
- Experience managing large, multi-location, complex provider accounts and national/regional accounts.
- Ability to reside in assigned geography and travel extensively for in-person stakeholder engagement.
- Leadership, cross-functional strategy, or account coordination experience strongly preferred.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with health system executives, pharmacies, and priority account stakeholders to enable patient access.
- Map organizational influencers across pharmacy, billing, operations, and provider functions to coordinate access strategies.
- Lead cross-regional account strategies reducing duplication and ensuring consistent support across multi-site accounts.
- Identify and resolve systemic access barriers including prior authorization, benefit verification, claims, and specialty pharmacy workflows.
- Create education resources and implementation plans to help providers and billing teams understand reimbursement processes at scale.
