Role summary
Illumina seeks a Senior Events Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute customer-facing field marketing events across the United States and Canada. The role requires managing event logistics, vendor coordination, budget tracking, and compliance reporting while partnering with cross-functional teams.

What you'll be doing
- Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned USCAN field marketing events including regional sales events and vendor shows
- Source venues, prepare RFPs, and coordinate contracts for hotel, catering, audiovisual, and vendor services
- Build and manage event registration sites and attendee communications using Cvent
- Track event budgets, reconcile expenses, process invoices, and provide spend reporting
- Collect and report Transfers of Value data while ensuring legal and compliance adherence
