Role summary

Merck seeks a Senior Director to lead the U.S. Medical Affairs team focused on payer and health-system engagement. What you'll be doing

Recruit, onboard, train, and manage field-based medical affairs professionals and assess performance against objectives
Oversee portfolio product launches and medical affairs plans to ensure aligned execution and account prioritization
Develop and execute medical account plans across prioritized health-system accounts with commercial and headquarters coordination
Provide strategic insights from internal and external stakeholders to headquarters leadership and cross-functional teams
Support budget planning and resource allocation decisions for the medical affairs team and annual initiatives
