Role summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Director to lead global commercial data, AI, and reporting strategy across the biologics business unit. This role designs and scales enterprise data products, AI-enabled decision platforms, and performance reporting while managing five direct reports and cross-functional delivery teams.

Demonstrated track record moving enterprise data and AI strategies from concept to deployment and measurable value
Strong knowledge of modern data architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, semantic layers, and metadata governance
AI literacy across machine learning, generative AI, and agentic workflows with responsible AI governance understanding
Expertise in data-product and platform management including discovery, roadmaps, adoption, and value measurement
Deep understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance in regulated environments
Experience with pharmaceutical commercial data, secondary market data, claims data, and HCP engagement channels

What you'll be doing

Define multi-year vision and roadmap for commercial data, AI, reporting and digital decision platforms aligned to business priorities
Establish target-state data architecture principles for domains, products, governance, and interoperability across the enterprise
Identify and prioritize AI use cases to improve decisions and workflows; move successful solutions from experiment to scalable products
Own product portfolio lifecycle including vision, outcomes, roadmaps and backlogs for commercial data and reporting platforms
Lead globally distributed team of data product owners and platform leads; manage vendors, budgets, and delivery risk
