Role summary

- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, or Welding Engineering with 4+ years manufacturing experience
- Hands-on experience with laser processing, resistance welding, and advanced manufacturing methods
- Expertise in structured experimentation, process characterization, and technical problem solving
- Data-driven approach to process performance analysis and manufacturing capability establishment
- Experience with implantable medical devices or highly regulated, high-reliability products preferred
What you'll be doing
- Develop and optimize laser welding, cutting, marking, and precision joining processes for medical devices
- Lead feasibility studies, rapid prototyping, and Design of Experiments to evaluate manufacturability and process capability
- Design hermetic sealing and leak-testing processes, including helium leak testing for implantable applications
- Partner with Design, Materials, and R&D teams to influence design decisions and manufacturing methods
- Support process transfer and manufacturing scale-up with internal sites and external manufacturing partners
