Role summary
Senior Accountant position at Aldevron supporting month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting under GAAP standards. Reports to Sr. Manager of Finance and serves as D365/SAP ERP resource for the accounting team in Fargo, ND or Coralville, IA.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Five years of professional accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency with PC software and Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems such as D365 or SAP
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
What you'll be doing
- Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile to sub-ledgers and subsidiary ledgers
- Execute month-end close activities including account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Research financial data and respond to management inquiries
- Document accounting procedures and recommend process improvements and stronger controls
- Serve as D365 and SAP ERP resource while informally coaching staff accountants
