Role summary
Ipsen seeks a Senior Account Specialist for its Neuroscience division in Atlantic Canada. The role involves building healthcare provider relationships, executing territory sales strategies, and ensuring compliant promotion of Ipsen therapies across Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
What they're looking for
- Undergraduate degree
- Minimum 7+ years pharmaceutical sales representative experience
- Neuroscience promotional experience strongly preferred
- Botulinum toxin or competitive product promotion experience valued
- Excellent written and oral communication with strong presentation skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (≤3 moving violations in 3 years)
- Ability to travel 10–15% outside territory for conferences and meetings
What you'll be doing
- Achieve sales objectives and develop key account and territory business plans
- Execute marketing plans while identifying local territory opportunities
- Build and maintain HCP relationships through calls, educational programs, and peer activities
- Manage territory budgets, expenses, samples, and call reporting per company guidelines
- Maintain product knowledge, complete required training, and ensure regulatory compliance
