Role summary
Amgen seeks a scientist to develop and validate LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods supporting drug discovery through clinical stages. This laboratory role involves designing quantitative assays for diverse molecular entities, optimizing automation workflows, and ensuring regulatory compliance across nonclinical and clinical matrices.

- Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 2+ years relevant industrial experience, or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years relevant experience
- Strong expertise in quantitative mass spectrometry on triple quadrupole and high-resolution platforms
- Prior experience in CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech environments
- Hands-on experience with automated sample preparation techniques and platforms
- Experience with bioanalytical assay validation, GLP, and GCP standards
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced multi-project environments and solve scientific problems efficiently
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
What you'll be doing
- Plan, execute, and document quantitative LC-MS/MS bioanalytical experiments across therapeutic modalities
- Develop and implement fit-for-purpose bioanalytical methods with rapid turnaround timelines
- Perform bioanalysis on diverse sample types including plasma, urine, CSF, and tissues
- Prepare and optimize biological samples using extraction techniques and automated workflows
- Author, review, and maintain regulatory-compliant documentation including study reports, SOPs, and technical memos
