Role summary

This senior manager role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with opinion leaders and medical centers across the Southeast in vasculitis and related specialties. Responsibilities include identifying key regional influencers, managing speaker programs, coordinating conference activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align external engagement strategies. The position reports to the Director of Professional and Marketplace Engagement within the Inflammation Business Unit.

What they're looking for

  • Doctorate degree plus 2 years marketing/sales/clinical experience, or Master's plus 4 years, or Bachelor's plus 6 years
  • 5-10 years rheumatology, nephrology, or rare disease customer-facing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute KOL mapping strategies and advocacy plans
  • Strong relationship-building skills with opinion leaders and strategic medical centers
  • Clinical and scientific knowledge of complex disease states, particularly vasculitis
  • Executive-level communication skills with proven decision-making and ethical standards

What you'll be doing

  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain regional opinion leader relationships in ANCA vasculitis across rheumatology, nephrology, and related specialties
  • Manage speaker bureau relationships, training, compliance, and product theater speaker management
  • Attend and coordinate brand activities at regional and national inflammation conferences, managing budgets and sponsorships
  • Coordinate cross-functional engagement strategies with sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams
  • Lead peer-to-peer marketing initiatives including advisory boards and speaker bureau content development
