Role summary
Production Technician I position at AbbVie's North Chicago facility involving equipment setup, operation, and monitoring across formulation, encapsulation, and packaging processes. Multiple shifts available with GMP compliance and quality assurance responsibilities.
What they're looking for

- 2-3 years general manufacturing experience, preferably in cGMP environments

- Demonstrated understanding of HMI controls, vision inspection, and serialization systems
- Ability to stand 8-12 hours daily and lift up to 25 pounds
- Experience with POMs, SAP, or MAXIMO systems preferred
What you'll be doing
- Set up, operate, clean, and clear equipment according to batch records and procedures
- Monitor manufacturing processes and communicate issues to appropriate operations teams
- Perform in-process quality checks and minor equipment troubleshooting and repairs
- Complete batch records following ALCOA and GMP compliance requirements
- Train qualified colleagues on equipment and processes; maintain audit-ready production areas
