Role summary

Production Technician II responsible for safe and efficient operation of injection molding equipment at a medical device manufacturer. Will set up molds, optimize machine performance, troubleshoot production issues, lead changeovers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance.

3-5 years injection molding experience preferred
Mechanical proficiency and computer skills
Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and push/pull up to 100 pounds
RJG Systematic 1 Molding Certification preferred

What you'll be doing

Set up molds and optimize molding machines to validated parameters and target cycle times
Lead mold changeovers and assist operators with processing and troubleshooting
Monitor production output and report downtime, scrap, and labor efficiency
Drive LEAN initiatives, 6S standards, and GMP compliance across the department
Perform equipment maintenance and communicate with quality, maintenance, and mold shop teams
