Role summary
Production line lead role overseeing manufacturing operations at a medical device or pharmaceutical facility. Responsible for line setup, quality verification, team coordination, and compliance with safety and documentation standards in a controlled cleanroom environment.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years manufacturing experience, or Diploma/ITI with 3+ years experience
- Experience in cleanroom assembly or medical device/pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing preferred
- Fluent English reading ability for SOPs and technical documentation
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, hygiene standards, and documentation protocols
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs, stand extended periods, work all shifts including nights
What you'll be doing
- Oversee line setup, material staging per BOM, and position staffing according to standard work
- Monitor quality control sampling, in-process inspections, and batch documentation completion
- Track hourly scorecard metrics including production per hour, accumulation, and reject counts
- Coordinate equipment troubleshooting and escalate issues to supervisors and maintenance technicians
- Train and cross-train manufacturing associates on standard work and compliance requirements
