Role summary

Principal Financial Analyst supporting Medtronic's global Service & Repair business, reporting to the S&R Financial Manager. The role owns financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes while partnering with operations and commercial leaders to drive visibility and performance insights for a fast-growing division.

Demonstrated ownership of planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance-analysis processes
Intermediate financial modeling, business analysis, and data synthesis capabilities
Ability to develop executive-ready presentations and performance narratives
Experience embedding AI-enabled analysis, automation, and reporting into business operations
Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, Hyperion, OneStream, or Anaplan

What you'll be doing

Own S&R FP&A calendar including monthly close, forecasting, AOP, and LRP processes with governance
Consolidate and analyze financial and operational results to identify performance drivers and opportunities
Partner with leaders to develop revenue, pricing, volume, and margin forecasts with scenario modeling
Lead financial evaluation and performance tracking of investments and transformation initiatives
Design and implement scalable reporting solutions, dashboards, and process improvements
