Role summary
PCI Pharma Services seeks a Plant Engineer to support manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, managing process equipment improvements, capital projects, and facility maintenance. The role involves leading engineering initiatives from concept through commissioning while ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.
What they're looking for
- BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering from accredited university
- Minimum 9+ years engineering experience in facilities, clean utilities, or plant utilities
- Strong knowledge of Good Engineering Practices, technical project management, and Lean Principles
- Experience with GMP/non-GMP change control and FDA regulatory compliance
- Proficiency with CMMS, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PLC, and SCADA control systems
- Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing environments
What you'll be doing
- Lead critical and plant utility projects independently from inception through completion
- Coordinate fabrication, procurement, installation, and validation of new equipment and systems
- Design and execute engineering runs to test equipment and troubleshoot manufacturing problems
- Prepare engineering documentation including URS, ETOPs, risk assessments, and acceptance testing protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system requirements, facility specifications, and continuous improvements
