Role summary
Field-based endoscopy specialist role supporting surgical teams in Iowa City with flexible endoscope and TEE probe reprocessing, transportation, and high-level disinfection. Monday-Friday evening shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) with $1/hour shift premium and occasional travel to other accounts.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently; stand and walk for extended periods
- CER certification required within six months of hire
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with independent decision-making ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Ability to work rotating schedules including on-call and weekend shifts with 45-minute response time
- Valid corrected visual acuity, color vision, and fine motor dexterity for equipment inspection
What you'll be doing
- Transport flexible scopes and probes between procedural areas and reprocessing sites safely
- Perform leak testing, manual cleaning, and automated or manual high-level disinfection of equipment
- Validate and document HLD cycles, labeling, and maintenance records for compliance
- Maintain communication with clinical departments regarding instrument availability and status
- Stay current on Stryker equipment, products, and technologies while educating clinical staff
Compensation$21.58–$29.20 USD hourly
