Role summary
Field-based clinical specialist supporting robotic and manual joint replacement procedures across multiple territories in the Northeast and beyond. Provides clinical expertise, training, and technical support to surgical teams while managing deployments and covering employee leave absences.

- MAKO robotic system certification
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience; 4+ years preferred
- At least 2 years experience with MAKO robotic applications and manual joint replacement instruments
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic surgery and robotic-assisted surgical technology
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively, often with short notice, for extended periods
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of Mako robotic systems, functionalities, and clinical applications
- Deliver comprehensive clinical training and support to surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff during deployments
- Serve as point of contact for clinical inquiries, troubleshooting, and technical support related to robotic and manual instrumentation
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospital staff, and internal team members
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards for all clinical practices
