Role summary
Pfizer seeks a Medical Affairs Scientist to establish scientific partnerships with key opinion leaders in genitourinary oncology across Catalonia and other Spanish regions. The role involves developing local medical strategies, managing clinical research collaborations, and serving as the in-field medical expert to support the company's therapeutic objectives.
What they're looking for
- Degree in Health Sciences; MD, MBA, or PhD preferred
- Previous MSL/MSR experience and oncology/hematology knowledge strongly desired
- Fluency in English required; valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Excellent verbal, written, and scientific communication skills
- Background in epidemiology, oncology, immunology, or clinical trials preferred
- Project management skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of regulatory affairs, drug safety, and compliance
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific institutions in genitourinary tumors
- Serve as in-field medical expert and facilitate scientific intelligence on competitive research activities
- Develop and execute local medical strategic plans; promote central-level medical education and activities
- Lead medical-to-medical communications and disseminate clinical data on Pfizer medicines to the scientific community
- Provide scientific support for clinical trials, research grants, and post-marketing studies; support regional symposia and advisory boards
