Role summary

ResMed seeks a Mechanical Engineer to develop pressure system components for respiratory devices. The role involves designing, prototyping, and testing innovative medical products within a multidisciplinary team, from concept through high-volume manufacturing.

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Biomedical Engineering
3D CAD modelling experience (Creo preferred, other packages acceptable)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with scientific approach
Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork abilities
Product development experience in medical devices or regulated industries (preferred)
Familiarity with fluid dynamics, pneumatic systems, or CFD simulation (preferred)

What you'll be doing

Develop and design pressure system components considering manufacturability and user experience
Build prototypes using additive manufacturing and fabrication techniques
Design and conduct verification and validation testing under operating conditions
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including industrial design and electronics
Participate in risk management activities and maintain design documentation
