Doctorate degree with 7+ years relevant experience, or Master's/MBBS with 10+ years in medical communications/publications, or Bachelor's with 10+ years experience
MD, PharmD, PhD, or DO with minimum 5+ years in medical and publications content development
Prior experience in medical affairs or clinical development within biopharmaceutical industry
Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercialization, regulatory guidelines, and publication standards (ICMJE, GPP Guidelines)
Demonstrated ability to execute strategically in matrix environments with limited supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and databases
Ability to work effectively across global virtual teams with high initiative and self-motivation

What you'll be doing

Develop and deliver accurate, innovative scientific content (DSE, digital, MSL materials, FAQs) tailored to specific global audiences
Draft and deliver publications including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for scientific congresses and journals
Address complex medical information inquiries and escalations; support payer interactions and compendia submissions
Manage workflows and approvals through appropriate processes; partner with Scientific Communications Operations on standardization and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with Amgen SOPs and external regulatory and legal guidelines
