Role summary
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Manager of Mechanical Engineering to lead lifecycle management activities for diagnostic products. This on-site role involves directing a team through sustaining engineering, design changes, compliance updates, and product optimization across the instrument portfolio.

- IVD instrumentation or clinical diagnostics systems knowledge (preferred)

- Lead and develop mechanical engineering lifecycle management team with coaching and resource planning
- Own sustaining engineering strategy for electro-mechanical and medical device products
- Drive design change management, obsolescence mitigation, and cost reduction initiatives
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve production and field issues
- Provide technical leadership for engineering investigations and root cause analysis
