Role summary
Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Cloud FinOps Engineer to optimize cost-efficient cloud usage across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms. - 4-5+ years cloud engineering, platform operations, SRE, or FinOps experience
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP platforms and cost drivers
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud compute, storage, database, and networking cost optimization
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management principles and role-based access control
What you'll be doing
- Perform daily cloud cost analysis across AWS, Azure, GCP with focus on tagging and anomaly detection
- Operate and enhance cost observability solutions including dashboards and usage trend reporting
- Serve as technical contact for cloud consumers translating cost data into engineering guidance
- Identify and lead cost optimization initiatives for compute, database, storage, and container resources
- Build Python automation solutions and CloudFormation templates to improve FinOps operations and CI/CD integration
