Role summary
Manager for clinical laboratory operations at a diagnostics company, overseeing workflow, production goals, quality assurance, and team management. Reports to Senior Manager and ensures regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement in lab processes.

- Current California State CLS or CGMBS license
- Eligible for CAP General Supervisor and NYSDOH supervisor delegation
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel and laboratory management systems

- Monitor workflow, production timelines, and service level agreements across laboratory operations
- Manage team staffing, scheduling, PTO, and recruitment to meet production demands
- Track metrics on efficiency, quality, error rates, and waste; use data to drive improvements
- Oversee quality control programs, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage automation integration into workflows
