Role summary
Catalent seeks a Process Maintenance Technician for its Manassas, Virginia manufacturing facility, working nights (10pm-6:30am) to maintain and repair equipment in consumer health product production. The role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installation across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
What they're looking for
- Associate degree plus 2+ years maintenance experience, or high school diploma plus 5+ years experience
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience running conduit and wiring electrical panels per NEC guidelines
- Ability to program Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs
- Skilled trades background in food industry preferred; welding, pipefitting, and fabrication preferred
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs regularly, 100 lbs frequently, and 1000 lbs occasionally
What you'll be doing
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance, repairs, and equipment changeovers across manufacturing site
- Install and maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment
- Conduct equipment foundation work, grinding, filing, and construction of shafts and conveyors
- Maintain facility cleanliness, repair shop upkeep, and compliance with GMP and HACCP standards
