Role summary

Danaher seeks a Lead Engineer to design and implement vulnerability and exposure management workflows, including scanning, data processing, prioritization, and automation. The remote role in Brazil reports to the Senior Manager of Exposure Management within Information Security and requires deep expertise in vulnerability tooling and security engineering.

What they're looking for

5+ years vulnerability management or security engineering experience
Hands-on engineering of vulnerability/exposure platforms (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, CrowdStrike FEM, Defender)
Proficiency building automation with Python, SQL, and REST APIs across security systems
Risk-based prioritization experience using EPSS, CISA KEV, and threat intelligence
Relevant certification: CrowdStrike CCFA, Tenable VM Specialist, Qualys VMDR, or GIAC GSEC/GMON
Experience with scan coverage, authenticated scanning, and vulnerability data normalization

What you'll be doing

Engineer scanning coverage, data ingestion/normalization, prioritization logic, ticketing, and reporting pipelines
Build and maintain automation for prioritization, SLA logic, exception processes, and validation workflows
Contribute to CTEM operating-model design and implementation across vulnerability and exposure domains
Support pipeline sustainability through runbooks, data-quality checks, and service-ownership mapping
