Role summary
This role involves leading evidence synthesis projects for pharmaceutical and medical device clients, including indirect treatment comparisons, network meta-analyses, and statistical analyses. The successful candidate will manage project delivery, develop analytical plans, and provide strategic expertise in health economics and epidemiology while supporting business development initiatives across multiple European locations.
What they're looking for
- PhD or MSc in Statistics
- 8+ years of evidence synthesis experience
- Consulting, academic, or pharmaceutical/devices industry background
- Proven team leadership and management experience
- Proficiency in WinBugs/OpenBugs and R statistical packages
- Knowledge of HTA processes and health economics methodologies
- Self-motivated with strong collaborative abilities
What you'll be doing
- Lead delivery of evidence synthesis projects including network meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons
- Develop study designs, analytical plans, and comprehensive reports for client submissions
- Provide technical expertise on state-of-the-art evidence synthesis methods to clients and internal teams
- Manage project teams, mentor junior analysts, and ensure quality control of deliverables
- Lead business development efforts and develop proposals based on client requests and RFPs
