Role summary
Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to support clinical virology research focused on HIV antiviral drug development. The position involves laboratory work in a BSL-2 environment, data analysis, and documentation of research findings over 10–12 weeks during summer 2024.

- Laboratory experience with PCR, molecular cloning, DNA sequencing, and cell culture preferred
- Background in cellular and molecular biology, virology, or related discipline preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Support HIV antiviral drug development research activities in clinical virology
- Conduct laboratory experiments in BSL-2 biosafety environment
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and document research findings

- Present final research summary and conclusions via PowerPoint presentation
