Role summary
Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to support Kite's process development and manufacturing operations through analytics and digital innovation projects. What they're looking for
- Currently enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at accredited U.S. university
- Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA; independent U.S. work authorization
- Preferred background in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or related field
- Programming experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and automation
- Experience with generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaborative teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and experience integrating multi-source data
What you'll be doing
- Execute analytics project extracting value from process development and manufacturing data
- Develop dashboards and automated workflows improving visibility into process performance
- Apply machine learning and AI technologies to identify opportunities for enhanced decision support
- Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and deliver scalable solutions
- Generate recommendations for future digital transformation initiatives and deliver final presentation
Compensation$19.00 - $55.00 hourly
