Role summary

Leica Microsystems seeks an industrial engineer to support optical product development from concept through production readiness. The role involves cross-functional collaboration between R&D, manufacturing, and customers to advance innovation in microscopy and imaging solutions.

What you'll be doing

Manage full product development cycle including production-ready handoff with manufacturing documentation and material master data
Create and maintain technical drawings, bills of materials, and adjustment instructions using CREO Parametrics
Support production areas troubleshooting manufacturing issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct feasibility assessments and evaluate new manufacturing technologies and optical component suppliers
