Role summary
Abbott seeks a Histotechnologist I to perform specimen cutting, sectioning, and H&E staining under supervision at its Redwood City laboratory. What you'll be doing
- Perform specimen cutting, sectioning, H&E staining, and macro-dissection under supervision
- Maintain quality standards and communicate issues to management for prompt resolution
- Prepare reagents, solutions, controls; monitor and process specimen workflow queues
- Interact with pathologists, internal staff, and external customers on specimen processing
- Document equipment maintenance and calibration; assist with process improvement initiatives
Compensation$25.00–$50.00/hour
