Role summary
Orchard Therapeutics seeks an experienced Health, Safety & Compliance Specialist in Hammersmith to support organizational health and safety management, regulatory compliance, and biological safety. - Develop, implement, and improve the company's health and safety management system
- Conduct risk assessments including COSHH and biological risk assessments with control measures
- Serve as designated Biological Safety Officer ensuring compliance with biological safety legislation
- Oversee safe handling, storage, transport, and disposal of biological materials
- Deliver health, safety, and compliance training programs and toolbox talks to staff
