IQVIA seeks a Head of Patient Science, Instrument Development & Thought Leadership to lead strategic and scientific development of clinical outcome assessments and composite measures.   • Advanced degree (PhD, Master's, or equivalent) in Psychology, Behavioral measurement, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, or Public Health
  • 10+ years professional experience in COA/outcomes research in pharmaceutical, CRO, or consultancy settings
  • Deep expertise in COA methodology, psychometrics, FDA/EMA regulatory guidelines, and qualitative research
  • Excellent scientific writing and verbal communication skills for regulatory and senior leadership audiences
  • Proven experience managing high-performing teams and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders globally
  • Track record of peer-reviewed publications in outcomes research

What you'll be doing

  • Define instrument development strategies across therapeutic areas aligned with regulatory guidance and HTA requirements
  • Lead development, validation, and implementation of clinical outcome assessment instruments with psychometric evaluation
  • Direct regulatory interactions with FDA and EMA regarding newly developed clinical outcome assessments
  • Mentor and build a team of scientists in COA methodologies and scientific best practices
  • Represent the company as subject matter expert at scientific conferences and industry consortia
