Zifo seeks a Lab Computing Analyst to provide consulting and technical support for laboratory instrument systems and IT infrastructure at a client site in Cambridge, MA. The role combines requirements management, IT consulting, vendor liaison work, and on-site break/fix support in a regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Biomedical, or Chemical discipline
3+ years technical experience with Windows technologies, networking, remote computing, and backup systems
1+ year software development and testing experience
1+ year business requirement analysis and gathering experience
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with proven system design and implementation track record
In-depth knowledge in one or more biotech/pharma areas (discovery, clinical data, lab workflows, sample management, robotic systems, operations metrics)

What you'll be doing

Manage requirements gathering, define scope, and support validation/compliance activities for customer projects
Analyze current-state processes and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices
Evaluate vendor solutions, coordinate demos, and assess technical feasibility for clients
Serve as primary liaison between lab/system owners, internal teams, and external vendors for service coordination
Perform break/fix support for lab instruments and connected systems, implement security policies, and maintain equipment inventory
