Role summary
Senior Associate role focused on developing health economic models to support Amgen's global market access strategy. Responsible for designing cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and other analytical models using clinical and real-world data to inform HTA and payer decisions.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in health economics, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years (Master's) or 5+ years (Bachelor's) experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting economic modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in cost-effectiveness and budget impact model development
- Hands-on experience with network meta-analyses and matching-adjusted indirect comparisons
- Proficiency with Excel, R, SAS, or STATA
- Experience supporting HTA submissions or payer evidence generation
- Fluent English written and oral communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Design and develop global health economic models using cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and related techniques
- Program models in Excel, R, Python, or similar software integrating clinical and real-world data
- Conduct statistical analyses of clinical trial and real-world data for model inputs
- Execute advanced evidence synthesis including network meta-analyses and indirect comparisons
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to validate model robustness and generate presentations
