Role summary
Financial Analyst III will partner with cross-functional leaders at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Niche Diagnostics division to support financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. What you'll be doing
- Serve as financial partner to R&D, Sales, Marketing, Quality, Facilities, and G&A functions on performance and decision-making
- Manage and forecast operating expenses, reviewing actual spending against budget and explaining variances
- Support monthly financial close activities including variance analysis, accruals, reconciliations, and P&L reporting
- Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plans with focus on operating expenses
- Analyze business unit profitability, spending trends, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
