Role summary
Finance apprenticeship supporting Vertex's Southern Europe and Brazil region with planning, analytics, and reporting activities. - Currently enrolled in Master 2 program in scientific or business discipline
- Understanding of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry finance
- Experience with complex analytics in fast-paced environments
- Advanced English language proficiency
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems knowledge (SAP BPC, OB, Hyperion)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to commit to 12-month internship/apprenticeship starting 2026
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate monthly forecast operating reviews and develop insights across forecasts and scenarios
- Support monthly close process including variance analysis and presentation creation
- Develop and maintain sales analytics processes, metrics, and reporting
- Prepare KPIs tracking budget and forecast performance versus targets for revenue and expenses
- Identify and participate in process improvement projects and ad hoc analyses
