Role summary

Field Service Engineer position supporting diagnostic laboratory equipment in southeast Texas. Responsible for troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of Beckman Coulter automation and chemistry systems, with minimal direction and customer-facing technical support.

What they're looking for

Associate degree in technical, biomedical, instrumentation, or electrical engineering; or high school diploma with 3 years experience
1+ year diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, or electronic equipment
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to travel 20% overnight within territory; lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
3+ years advanced troubleshooting experience (preferred)
Customer relationship development and partnership skills (preferred)

What you'll be doing

Troubleshoot, install, validate, and repair Beckman Coulter diagnostic equipment with minimal direction
Perform preventative maintenance and modifications on automation and chemistry systems
Maintain accurate service records, order repair parts, and meet cycle time targets
Provide technical training to customers and assist with training newer Field Service Engineers
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels regarding service needs

Compensation$34.00/hour - $38.00/hour, plus eligible bonus/incentive pay
