Role summary
Amgen seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to support the Bone Health business unit across Arizona and Nevada. This role involves managing patient access and reimbursement for defined accounts, coordinating with healthcare providers and payers, and resolving coverage challenges while maintaining compliance with protected health information regulations.

- Doctorate degree, or Master's with 3+ years customer service/leadership experience, or Bachelor's with 5+ years relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical managed care, clinical support, or third-party access
- Strong medical reimbursement experience and specialty pharmacy knowledge
- Proven presentation, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Advanced computer literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web conferencing
- Knowledge of commercial payers, Medicare, and state Medicaid coverage processes
- Must live in or within 10 miles of Arizona/Nevada territory; valid driver's license required
What you'll be doing
- Manage patient-level reimbursement issues and coverage challenges within assigned geographic region
- Support prior authorizations, appeals, denials, and forms assistance from physician order through resolution
- Educate healthcare providers on private and public payer coverage changes affecting product access
- Serve as payer expert, communicating coverage updates and coordinating with HUB and relevant partners
- Conduct office-based education on formulary coverage, benefits investigation, and financial assistance programs
