Role summary
IQVIA seeks an experienced General Ledger Accountant in Brussels to manage financial reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end closing activities, and ensure compliance with SOX and internal control frameworks. The role involves reconciling inventory and intercompany accounts, analyzing financial data, and supporting audit preparation and tax filings. What you'll be doing
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly reconciliations for inventory and intercompany accounts
- Execute month-end and quarter-end closing activities with account analysis and verification
- Enter financial transactions including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications into the general ledger
- Ensure internal controls and SOX compliance adherence with timely execution
- Assist with audit file preparation, annual accounts, tax declarations, and regulatory filings
